With essential oils, I know there’s a lot of information out there that says that they can be a cure all, which I’m not fully in belief of. But, essential oils can be helpful, and they have some antimicrobial activities. I would make sure that you get the kind that is meant for internal use, not just for diffusers or external use. And then, follow the recommendations based on those protocols. Peppermint oil can be helpful or SIBO. I’m not a big fan of the multi level marketing because people can get a little bit unethical when they’re desperate. But, there is some research and unbiased data. Oil of oregano has been found to be helpful for a lot of infections. In my opinion, they’re not really going to be harmful to the best of my knowledge. So, I’m ok with recommending them for people because in most cases, especially if applied topically, I don’t believe they’re going to be harmful. Will they be a cure all? I’m not willing to bet everything on it, but they may help.
